Hi, everyone:)
I'm going to tell you about my experience in Canada.
I've stayed at Vancouver, Canada for 1 month last year.
Because it was my first time to go abroad, everything was new for me:)
I think many things were different from Japan, especially foods.
When I was in Japan with my family, I have rice, miso soup, Natto, and fish
which is Japanese traditional breakfast in the morning.
On the first day at Canada, host mother told me the breakfast after I arrived at home.
She explained how to prepare my breakfast.
I was surprised then because it is only cornflakes and fruits!!
Also, I had breakfast by myself because departure time is different individually.
I felt bored a little in the first week, but when we go back to home, we talked a
lot.
Through the stay at Canada, I thought Japanese people are particular about
breakfast. I prefer Japanses breakfast style because I can talk a lot with my
family and eat a lot:*)haha
Hello,Kaori.
返信削除I have also stayed Vancourber for a month when I was a freshman, and I often visit there while I had studied in Washington state,USA.
You seem that you always have breakfast with your family, and it must be good time.
It has been rare for me to have breakfast with my family since when I was a junior high school student. Interesting food culture of other family! thanks.
Hello Kaori!
返信削除Thank you for sahring your experience in Canada.
In japan, just cereal and fruits is sounds not good or not enough, but that kind of breakfast is common in foreigh countries such as america and canada, isn't it? Did you find many kinds of cereals at super market? The great variety of cereals tells us that cereal is the most popular breakfast in such countries.
I like cereal because it is easy to eat when I am in a hurry. But it sounds not so healthy and nutritious. So, Japanese traditional style may be better, though the number of people who eat such traditional breakfast is getting smaller and smaller. People are really busy and they tend to skip breakfast. That is worse than eating only cereal. So I want people to have a breakfast every morning and start a day healthily!
Hello, Kaori!! I'm Hiromi.
返信削除Did you visit Canada!!? Oh, I envy you:-P
I would like to go there in the future!!
I have stayed in Australia with host family for three weeks.
Please be surprised. I eat two toast with strawberry jam, and drink tea every day. Every day I eat same things. However, I wasn't tired of that somehow. This may be because I could eat yogurt. Sometimes there was yogurt in refrigerator. It was so delicious!!
By the way, I hardly eat breakfast with my family even though we live together because departure time is different. I think I should eat with someone because the dish becomes more delicious, and breakfast is the good time for communicating.
